✨ NFL Draft 2016 — Creative OVERVIEW The NFL Draft is an emotionally charged milestone for players, teams, and fans—marking the defining transition from collegiate competition to professional football. For the 2016 Draft, a new thematic direction called for a refreshed visual approach that could capture the excitement, anticipation, and personal significance of the moment. THE CHALLENGE The event identity needed to express both the scale of the league and the individual journeys of each prospect, while remaining cohesive across environmental branding, broadcast moments, and fan experiences. THE APPROACH We introduced a signature typographic system designed to evoke personalization and emotional connection—reflecting the voices of fans, the aspirations of prospects, and the welcoming spirit of the league. The visual language balanced ceremony and energy, reinforcing the Draft as both a celebration and a beginning. THE OUTCOME A comprehensive event style guide supporting branding across the Auditorium Theatre at Roosevelt University, Grant Park fan experience, promotional campaigns, collateral, and digital/video environments—unifying storytelling across every touchpoint.
